A proving of Saguaro Cactus (Carnegiea Gigantea) performed in Phoenix, Arizona in the fall of 1997 consisted of 15 subjects who began taking the remedy on September 4th, 1997. The mother tincture was obtained from a specimen of the flower collected by Eileen Nauman in Cottonwood Arizona and the remedy potentized to a 30C potency. The subjects were instructed to take a single daily dosage for a maximum of three days but to stop after the appearance of any symptoms. Participants journaled their symptoms over the next month. Symptoms were reviewed in a videotaped exit group meeting one month later and journals reviewed separately. Participants who had residual symptoms or improvement following the one month interval were followed until the symptoms resolved. |

Saguaros SignalWe stand here, sentinels in burning deserts. Lost in searing spaces, we lift arms, blossom, and we stand, waiting for the Phoenix to tell us, "It is time. It is time." We rose from sea beds emptied over old horizons. Survived as guideposts for our relatives under other seas, and from other skies. Our mission is about to begin. Priscilla White
